Irresistables Reborn Heat Set Paint (IRHSP) Satin Varnish is a completely new formula that, when applied over the desired painted surface, creates a satin finish. You can mix this product with any of our other IRHSP mediums to make it thicker, for example. To enhance the satin effect, you can apply a second layer once the vinyl has cooled down. This product is compatible with all oil-based heatset paints, including Genesis. You will enjoy the new consistency and have fun being creative with this product to ensure that you are satisfied with the final result.
INSTRUCTIONS: Let the paint cool to room temperature after it has been heat-set. Place some IRHSP satin varnish on a palette and stir with a spatula to make it more fluid. You may also add a few drops of thinner to make it more fluid (ketchup thickness). Use a wide brush to apply a very thin layer of satin varnish over the paint. (Too thick will not harden or may crack). Meanwhile, heat the oven to 130 degrees Celsius and bake for 9-12 minutes just like the IRHSP paints at 130 degrees Celsius. Do not heat above 130 degrees. The mediums should be exposed to heat while moist for proper performance.
Medium: Heatset Satin Varnish.
Warning: Heating your vinyl kit is at your own risk. No warranty is given as it is impossible to predict how the vinyl will react to the slightest temperature deviation.
