Irresistables Heat Set Paint (IRHSP) Thinning Medium is a brand-new thinner that is odorless and solvent-free and is used to thin the paint without losing color depth. Irresistables Heat Set Thinning Medium does not dilute the paint but simply makes it easier to work with and more efficient when spreading over the surface, allowing you to paint more transparently while preserving the pigments. DO NOT use more than 2 parts medium to 3 parts paint, or the paint may become too transparent. You can mix this product with any of our other IRHSP mediums to get the exact texture of the final product you want to apply. This product is compatible with all heatset oil-based paints. You will enjoy the new consistency and have fun being creative with this product to ensure that you are satisfied with the final result.
INSTRUCTIONS: Let the paint cool to room temperature after it has been heat-set. Stir well, mix some IRHSP Thinning Medium into the paint to make it more fluid by adding the desired amount to the color or medium you are using. Preheat your oven to 130 degrees Celsius and bake the medium while still moist for 9 to 12 minutes, just like the IRHSP paints. Do not heat above 130 degrees.
